Dr. Miguel Angel Tomé Biosca died peacefully at Advent Health Orlando on March 15, 2021 in Orlando, Florida at the age of 91 surrounded by his family.
MIguel is survived by his son, Michael A. Tomé of Los Angeles and his husband Luke D. Hamilton, son Robert E. Tomé of West Palm Beach and his wife Patricia Tomé, daughter Teresita Tomé Rotz of Winter Park and her husband Steve D. Rotz. Miguel is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Angela and his son, Jorge L. Tomé (D.1989) survived by Kristen Munson who later married Robert Munson. Surviving grandchildren include Tyler Martiniuk, Patricia Tomé, Jorgianne Massey, Lauren Morgan, Hunter Munson, Grace Munson, Jake Rotz and Jordan Rotz.
Miguel was born on October 7, 1929 in Camaguey, Cuba to Dr. Miguel Angel Tomé Sr. and Blanca Tomé Biosca. He graduated from Belen High School in Havana, Cuba and went to the University of Havana and received a medical degree in 1954. He married his childhood sweetheart, Angela Loret de Mola on August 1, 1954 and they moved to Chicago, IL for Miguel to continue his postgraduate studies. MIguel and Angela immigrated to the United States of America from Cuba in 1964 with their 3 sons and lived in various places. For almost 50 years they resided in West Palm Beach, Florida until they moved to Winter Park, Florida in 2019 to be closer to their daughter, Teresita and her family.
Funeral services for both Miguel and Angela Tomé will be held on August 21, 2021 at 2pm at St. Juliana Catholic Church in West Palm Beach, Florida. Interment immediately following at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery (immediate family only please)
