Obituary

Michael William Moore, 51, of Altamonte Springs passed away on July 25, 2020 after 17 days on a ventilator fighting the COVID-19 virus. He was born on June 24th, 1969 in New Mexico into the Pueblo Nation. He was adopted by two loving parents, Anne Shephard Moore and James Orville Moore.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa "Nicole" Mansini, his mother Anne Moore, his daughters, Christine Fraser and Kaitlyn Moore, his son, Cameron Alizadeh, his sister, Carol Jacobs, his brother, Stephen Moore, and his grandson, Alexander Regino.

He served in the Army from September 1988 to September 1992 with Honorable Discharge in Unit Level Communications, working his way up to Unit Level Communications Supervisor. He was deployed for Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm and acquired multiple medals, badges and ribbons, including the National Defense Service Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the Army Commendation Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, and the Kuwait Liberation Medal.

He was a member of the Central Florida American Poolplayers Association for 22 years, and served as a Team Captain for most of those. One of his proudest accomplishments was making it to the APA National Team Captain Tournament in Las Vegas last summer. He was a lifetime Texas A&M Aggies, Houston Astros, Houston Rockets and Houston Texans/Oilers fan.

Services will be private at Degusipe Funeral Home, Maitland, Florida, but will be viewable over Facebook Live Stream on Tuesday, August 4th at 2:00 PM. https://www.facebook.com/DeGusipeFH/
