Michael John Cassel, 59 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away May 25th 2021 at AdventHealth Orlando East Hospital after a long battle with cancer with family by his side. He was born March 2, 1962 in Wayne County Indiana to William John and Nancy Jane (Weaver) Cassel. Michael grew up in New Paris, Ohio and Richmond, Indiana before moving to Indianapolis, Indiana.

He worked for many years at Express Scripts in Whitestown, Indiana. He followed Reverend Irwin Baxter, a Richmond Pastor who later founded EndTime Ministries in Texas, he also enjoyed watching Joel Osteen Ministries on TV, as often as possible.

Michael had a passion for his "Hot-Rod Mustang", enjoyed hanging around the garage on weekends with his dad, liked listening to Classic Rock music and attended the Official Fourth of July Hunky Open Golf Tournaments as often as possible.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Jane Gray (Winter Springs, FL), son Michael McCoy Cassel (Indianapolis), brother Rick Cassel (Winter Springs, FL), granddaughters Trinity (Michael, Jr.) Cassel (Paragon, IN) and Brielle Robinson (Casey), Lakeland, FL, and many cousins all over the country from the Cassel, Weaver Savel and Svarczkopf clans.

He is preceded in death by his father William (Bill) Cassel, daughter Casey Jo Robinson, sister Teresa Jane Parsley and brothers Robert (Bobby) Cassel and Jay Cassel, and Uncles Frank, George and Tony Svcartzkopf.

A celebration of life service will be held in Richmond, IN at a date to be announced.
