Michael James Baggs, 61, formerly of Gulfport, most recently of Cedar Key, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 in Gainesville. A graduate of Boca Ciega High School and University of South Florida, Mike was a car wash and real estate entrepreneur. He was active in community theater and many volunteer organizations. Mike proudly served in The United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his loving companion, Cindy Davis; his mother, Cloe Dance; sister, Carroll Steen (Keith); brother, Brian Baggs (Kathy) and step-son Shawn Jones. His four-legged partners Millie, Tupper, Jake and Grover are also left behind. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy and father, James. Friends will be received at the R. Lee Williams and Son Funeral Home Saturday, November 3rd, beginning at 1 P.M. until time of Celebration of Life at 2 P.M. Interment will be private.
