Meyer Lichtenstein, 88, born 1/24/1930 in Augusta, Ga, passed away June 22, 2018.

He is predeceased by his mother Celia and father Hyman Lichtenstein, his sister Jean Bradley and the love of his life for 62 yrs, Sondra Lichtenstein. He is survived by his children Cheryl (Herb) Orlansky, Mark (Jackie) Lichtenstein, Jerri (Seth) Johnson, and David Lichtenstein and his grandchildren Alex, Todd, Abby, Stephanie, Sabrina, Kyle, and Ryan.

He grew up in Augusta and attended University of Georgia where he met his wife, Sunnie. Before college he served 4 years in the Navy during the Korean War. He earned a Master's degree in physics and after being stationed in Alaska he jumped at the chance to work for Martin Marietta in Orlando in 1958.

After leaving Martin he had a long career in the mortgage business and real estate. He loved golfing, weight training, dining out and mostly just spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to everyone he met. He was loved by so many people and will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at Temple Israel Cemetary 9200 Morton Jones Rd, Gotha Fl, Sunday 6/24th at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers hug your loved ones.
