Merle Joseph Skena, 67 of Orlando, Florida passed into Heaven, Monday, October 14, 2019. Merle was born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 23, 1952.

He leaves behind Dianne, his devoted wife of 41 years and their three loving Children; Shaun Joseph, Bethany Dawn, and Megan Joelle, along with his two brothers; Frank Skena and Mark Skena and many friends. Merle was a loving and devoted son to his mother, Ruth Skena, who passed on the same day a few hours later.

He was a kind, compassionate, and generous man who enjoyed helping and serving others. His loss is deeply felt and while we mourn his passing, we rejoice with him that he is at peace and enjoying Heaven.

As our dear frend who lost her husband just two moths earlier told me, "Our honeys just beat us to Heaven." In the scope of eternity, it's not Goodbye, but "see you soon!"
