Melvin John McMillan, born November 20, 1939, in Nashville, Georgia, passed away on August 22, 2026, in Orlando, Florida.

Mr. McMillan’s life spanned more than eight decades, carrying him from his beginnings in south Georgia to Central Florida, where he spent his final days. He will be remembered with respect and affection by those who knew him, and his passing marks the close of a long and meaningful life.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance during a visitation on September 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Maitland Chapel, 9001 Orlando Ave, Maitland, Florida 32751. A Mass will follow that same day from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4001 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, Florida 32804.
