Mr. Melvaen Perez, 95, has passed away in Orlando, FL. He was born in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico on December 21, 1923 to parents Gerardo Perez and Lilia M. Torres. He had a long life and is survived by his wife Ramonin Quiñones de Perez His children Pachy, Maritza and Lindie, his grand children Marie, Mercedes, Maritzita, Albert, Pachito, Linda, Johanna, Roxanna, Salvatore and Xander, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grand child. He studied sales for two years at the University of Puerto Rico. On May 9th, 1943 he joined the United States Army, and served his country during World War II. He returned home to Peñuelas, On January 29th 1946, and later started a family. He was a hard working and loving person. He loved to spend time with his friends, los muchachos de la Plaza de Ponce. He lived in Peñuelas and Ponce, Puerto Rico, and moved to Orlando in 2011. He spent the rest of his days surrounded by family. He passed away peacefully the morning of January 27th 2019.
