Melody Lynne Spivey Clark, 60, of Oviedo, Florida went to glory on September 25, 2017 surrounded by loved ones.
A funeral mass to start her Heavenly journey will be held October 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. Father Michael Burke will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by DeGusipe Funeral Home.
Melody made her grand entrance into the world on September 12, 1957 in Tampa, Florida. She graduated from Leto High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor's degree from the University of Tampa.
Melody was married to the love of her life, Frederick Clark, on April 22, 1978; they were married nine years.
Melody worked in mortgage and finance from the age of seventeen. She enjoyed reading, sewing, country music, and spending time at the beach. Melody was known for her can do attitude and inability to suffer fools.
Melody is survived by her daughter Megan, son in law AJ, grandsons James and Reid, and numerous other family and friends. She will forever be remembered as the Queen of Everything by the Princess of Quite-a-Lot.
Melody is preceded in death by her husband Fred, brother John, and parents Mary and John. Those of us down here are jealous of the darn good party they're having up there.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to St. Mary Magdalen Early Learning Center or the Gold Shield Foundation. We ask that family and friends remember some of Melody's best life advice: Be kind to each other.
