Obituary

Melisha was born in Rockwood, Tennessee on 1/17/1963. She moved to Florida when she was 5 years old.

After graduating from Lake Brantley High School, she attended Seminole Community College in Nursing and Mid FL Tech as a CADD Operator. She worked many years at Harcourt-Brace Publishing and Mitsubishi Power Systems and developed many long lasting friendships with her co-workers.

Melisha enjoyed gardening and one of her favorite sayings was "It's what southern women do". Meaning sharing plant clippings with others, so part of each person will continue living on.

She loved the seashore and her favorite was Siesta Key. Many happy memories of swimming, shelling and family vacations there. Melisha loved boating in the Keys, looking for lobster and camping in the Ocala Forest where her dad taught her to drive a jeep.

She enjoyed shopping with her mother and just running around, even joining the Red hat Club so she could socialize some more.

Melisha loved family get togethers with lots of food and laughter. She was usually the last to leave.

During her illness she often expressed the joy of the reunion in Heaven with our loved ones who have gone before.

Her greatest joy was her son Chad, who she was so very proud of. Her love for him was deep and strong and she always wanted the best for him.

Melisha is survived by her son, Chad, her parents, John and Myrna Ethier; her Brothers, Michael, John and Joseph; her sisters in law and her nephews.
