Melinda Ann "Nin" Burnworth Collins, 66, of Hopwood, passed away Friday November 14, 2025, after a 7-year battle with breast cancer.

Melinda was born on October 26, 1959. Preceding her in death are her parents, Eddie and Janet (Lincoln) Burnworth, two brothers, Eddie and Ralph "Tommy" Burnworth and her grandson, Jaxon Tomasek.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her three sons, Elmer "Jake" Tomasek (Nicole), Jerome Conway (Brittany), and Joseph Tomasek (Megan), two sisters, Susan Cramer (John), Lori Detrick (Ed) and 1 brother, Phil Burnworth (Regina). Melinda also has many grandchildren who she loved dearly, Jace Tomasek, Sylvia Mancini-Barkley, Jerzee, Stormie, Mariah, Maddie, Allora, and Brix Conway, Joey and Easton Tomasek. She also has a special grandson to whom she raised as her own son, Blaze Conway.

Melinda had many special people in her life to help her through this battle that felt like family to her. Our family would like to thank nurses, Lisa and Diane, and her neighbor, Barb, for being there for her.

Family and friends will be received at DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, 65 N. Gallatin Ave, Uniontown, PA, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 2:00pm - 6:00pm with a special gathering immediately after at Hutchinson Sportsman Club. Interment is private.
