Maximina Rios, age 87,. of Deltona passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at her home in Deltona.

She was born on November 19, 1938 in Vega Alta, PR, daughter to her late parents, Fruto Rosado and Monserate Rosado. On May 9, 1959, she married Emiliano Rios in Bridgeport, CT.

Maximina was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved coloring, gardening, and being surrounded by her family. She was also a strong woman of faith. Maximina was a member of Reaching Hands Christian Center in Debary and was previously a member of Puerta Del Cielo church.

In addition to her husband of 67 years, Emiliano, Maximina leaves cherished memories to her daughter, Migdalia "Mickey" Rios of Deltona; two sons, Emilio and Edwin Rios, of Deltona; her sister, Carmen Hernandez of Orange City; and her brother, Wilfred Rosado.

Maximina was also blessed to be a grandmother to eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 12:00 pm at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory, 905 Laurel Ave, Sanford, FL 32771.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 13 preceding the service from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Enterprise Evergreen Cemetery.
