Matthew "Matt" Todd Weisner, aged 39, of Lakeland, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Born on July 23, 1985, in St. Petersburg, Florida, Matt was the proud owner and operator of Ocean Side Flooring. His work was more than just a job—it was a calling. Matt approached each project with meticulous attention to detail and a heartfelt commitment, whether it was a grand renovation or a simple repair. His craftsmanship and enthusiasm were evident in every job he completed.
A devoted family man, Matt was known for his strength, hard work, and relentless drive. He cherished spending time with his loved ones and found joy in fishing along the ocean. His love for his family was unwavering, and he took great pride in providing and caring for them.
Matt's legacy extends beyond his professional accomplishments and familial devotion. In a final act of selflessness, he chose to give the gift of life through organ donation, ensuring that his spirit of generosity and kindness would continue to touch others even in his passing.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Francelyn Weisner; his children, Laila and Aubree Weisner; stepchildren, Kiamcelyn and Marcos Sanabria; his parents, Matthew Todd Boissy and Pamela Weisner Lopez; and his siblings, Courtney Pagan (and her husband Jason), Brittney and Megan Weisner, and Logan and Travis Purvis. He is also remembered by several nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of family and friends.
A private service to honor Matt's memory will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, 3530 49th Street North, St. Petersburg, Florida.
