Matthew Hudson Cato was born at 20 weeks and 1 day at 7:55am on April 16, 2020 at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Children in Orlando, Florida. He weighed 330 grams and measured 9 inches long. Despite being born during the Covid-19 Global Pandemic, thankfully both his mother and father (Matthew Brian and Lara J Cato) were able to be in the delivery room for his birth. Matthew Hudson Cato went directly to heaven as a result of a twisted umbilical cord in utero.

He joins in heaven his paternal great-grandparents (Ellie & Effie Cato and James & Elinor Smith), his maternal great-grandparents (Frederick Sr. & Vera Bledsoe and Dr. Ben & Marilyn Barger), his paternal grandfather (Donald R Cato, Sr.), his paternal great-uncles (Bobby Cato, Reginald Pollard, Sr., Kerry Allmond), his maternal great uncles (Dr. Richard D'Louhy and Frederick Bledsoe, Jr.), his maternal great-aunts (Karen Hunter and Shirley Bledsoe) and second-cousin (Jimmy Bledsoe).

He is survived by his parents, (Matthew Brian and Lara J Cato), his brother (Hudson M. Cato- age 16), his two sisters (Elinor J. Cato – age 11 and Klare K. Cato – age 20 months), his paternal grandmother (K. Glenda Cato), his maternal grandparents (Dr. Michael and Janette Bledsoe), his paternal great-uncles (KC Smith, Charles Bateman, Joe Turner), his paternal great-aunts (Nanette Dollar, Kathy Bateman, Linda Turner, Joan Pollard), his maternal great-uncles (Dr. Bill Bledsoe and Wally Hunter), his maternal great-aunts (Lynn D'Louhy and Maryann Bledsoe), his paternal aunts (Angelia Wakeman and Lisa Coombs), his paternal uncles (Glenn Wakeman, Stevie Coombs and Don Cato Jr.), his maternal aunt (Lindsey Bledsoe), his maternal uncle (Ben Bledsoe), and his cousins (Myles Cato, Maison Cato, Parker Wakeman, Jordyn Cato, Ryder Coombs, Ford Coombs, Emerson Bledsoe, and Dylan Coombs).
