Mary Belle Goeller Wilcox, Winter Park, passed away on her birthday, May 30th. She was 88. She was born in 1927 in Charleston, West Virginia where she grew up, met and married her husband of 67 years. They moved their family to Orlando in 1956. She worked alongside her husband, Dr. John W. Wilcox, Jr., in his medical practice in Winter Park for many years until they retired to Franklin, North Carolina to enjoy playing golf, bridge and the beauty of the Smoky Mountains.
She is predeceased by her daughter Jill and grandson John Wilcox, IV.
She is survived by her husband Dr. John W. Wilcox, Jr., Winter Park, son Jack Wilcox (Patty), Maitland, daughter Janet Baird (Jim), Longwood, son Jeff Wilcox (Camy), Altamonte Springs. She also leaves behind her sister, Betty Alkire, St. Pete, her grandchildren Kelly Frame, Jennifer Kesler (Stephen Tschida), Jaclyn Dunn (John), Jessi Wilcox, Riley Wilcox and Bradleigh Wilcox along with her great grands Julia Wilcox, Juliette Tschida and Jackson Dunn and many nieces and cousins.
"GrandMary" was the true matriarch of our family as well as a beautiful, strong and loving woman. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
