Mary Therese Rock (McCarthy) 80, of Orlando, passed away January 2, 2020 after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband, John, daughters Elizabeth Barnard (Carl), Margaret Rock, Kathleen Rock and son Michael Rock (Diana) and grandsons Robert, Daniel and Colin Barnard. She is also survived by brother in law James Rock (Roxy) and nieces Stephanie Collums (Thomas) and Monica Rock as well as grandniece Megan Callahan (Sean) and grandnephew Nicholas Romeo. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ellen McCarthy.

Mary, a former resident of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, was a graduate of Mercy High School in Chicago and worked for Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois. She also worked for the Rolling Meadows Police Department for many years as a school crossing guard while being active in many church, city and school activities.
