Mary Lynn Michael, 75, of Longwood, FL passed away peacefully on December 1, 2022. Mary was born on November 20, 1947, in Chicago, IL to Paul and Elizabeth Plunkett.

Mary was a devoted mother, "grandmama" and friend. After retiring from AAA, Mary devoted her time to her church, Nativity Catholic Church, caring for her grandchildren, traveling the world, crocheting, and spending time with friends playing cards, Bunco, taking dance at the senior center and more.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Larry James Michael; parents, Paul and Elizabeth Plunkett; and her brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Mary Plunkett. She is survived by her four sons Jay Michael (Carolyn), Christopher Michael (Erin), Shane Michael, and Shaun Michael (April), as well as seven grandchildren, Jonann (Brandon), Logan, Dylan, Brayden, Colton, Hannah, and Michael.

A viewing will be held at Nativity Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Nativity Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 beginning at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow in the parish center.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that a donation in Mary's name be made to Nativity Catholic Church.
