The late Mary Louise Carter was born on August 26, 1956 in Sylvester, Georgia to Batten Hall Jr. and the late Habakkuk Ash.

Mary graduated in 1974 from Sebring High School. She worked in the healthcare industry as a Certified Nursing Assistant for most of her career. Mary had a heart for helping those who were unable to care for themselves. She had a strong work ethic and took great pride in the work she did. Mary was more than a mother to her girls she considered them her very best friends. She was a devoted nana and her grandchildren were the twinkle of her eye. Mary celebrated life and was always humming a tune and swinging her hips. Even during her time of sickness, she was always ready to "get down."

Mary always knew God and kept her faith in him. She fought a good fight and finished this course here on earth. She went home to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her mother Habakkuk Ash and dear love Robert Brown.

Those left to cherish her loving memory: a loving and devoted father and stepmother, Batten and Martha Hall Jr.; four loving daughters: Antesia Washington, Jaquelin Massaline, Nathalie Prieto (Rodrigo) and Elexius Williams (Quinten); Six Grandchildren: Savon, Simeon, Shamar, Malik, Quinten Jr., and Gabrielle; and a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
