Mary Jo (Harper) Albright, 81, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024, in Uniontown Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center with her loving daughter and son in law by her side.

Mary Jo was born on October 16, 1942, in Uniontown, PA, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Taylor) Harper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jack Harper, Richard Harper, Bernard Harper and Dorothy Roger.

Mary Jo was a devoted daughter and mother. Her life was her family, especially her mother and her children. She was a devout catholic. A lifetime member of St. John Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, PA where she was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Mary Jo retired from Fayette Bank having worked there for 37 years.

Mary Jo is survived by her daughters, Susan Polito and husband Brian of Uniontown, PA and Laura Black and husband Jeff of Ohio, four grandchildren, Jeffrey Black and wife Lindsey of Tampa, FL, Catherine Bacon and husband David of Missoula, Montana, Gianna Polito of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Justin Black of Cleveland, Ohio, two great grandchildren, Ella Harper Black and Jack Henry Bacon, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements are under the direction of the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD.
Interment is private. A mass in memory of Mary Jo will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Uniontown Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for their care and compassion.
