Mary Adrian Anderson, 68, a longtime Central FL resident, died July 1 after a long illness. The youngest of a big Irish Catholic family, Mary was brilliant, witty and beautiful. She graduated from Winter Park High School and attended the University of Colorado. She graduated magna cum laude and was a Lead Flight Attendant and Trainer for United Airlines. Despite a diagnosis of Crest Syndrome years ago, Mary's courage never wavered. The family thanks her caregivers and especially her childhood friend, Susan Skolfield who never left her side. She is survived by her husband, William Kilday Ross, Orlando, FL: sisters Kären Blumenthal (Arthur), Winter Park, FL; Michelle Anderson (Larry Moss), Longmont, CO; step-daughters Kalei Elizabeth Ross, Summerville, SC; Geneive Nicole Nickerson, Pemberton, BC, Canada; niece Charlotte Rosemary Moss, Arvada, CO; nephew Christian Moss, Longmont, CO; and sister-in-law Susan R. Anderson, Los Angeles, CA. She is predeceased by her parents, Ross K. Anderson and Mary Hurt Anderson; brother, Ross K. Anderson, Jr.; and sisters Sharon and Susan Amy Anderson.
