Martha Reid Lucente, 73, of Casselberry, Florida passed away peacefully on July 15, 2017. Born on April 28, 1944 in Charleston, West Virginia, she is predeceased by her parents, Ronald and Gertrude Simpson Reid, and her sister Betty Reid.

Martha is survived by her husband of fifty years, Domingo Jose Lucente, her daughter Diana J. (Kenneth) Hagstrom of Sanford, her son John F. (Lauren) Lucente of Casselberry, her grandsons Matthew A. Lucente and Nicholas J. Lucente, and her granddaughter Kalee R. Lucente.

She is also survived by her sisters Sharon (Ray) Sloss of Vero Beach, Debbie (Garland) Wright of Jackson, MS, and her brothers James (Daryle) Reid of Clemmons, NC and Curtis Reid of Hilton Head, SC as well as several nieces and nephews.
Martha and her husband were to celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary when she died peacefully and unexpectantly. She always opened her heart to everyone. She had a great sense of humor and a wonderful laugh. She loved writing poetry, cooking, reading, and working on puzzles. But most of all she loved caring for her husband. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. She will live in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 19, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory, 9001 North Orlando Ave, Maitland, FL 32751. Graveside service will be held Thursday July 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM at All Faith's Memorial Park, 1390 Park Drive, Casselberry, FL 32707.
