Martha Gratton Lacaillade passed away on October 27, 2015 in Altamonte Springs Florida due to complications following a long time illness. She was 70.

Martha was born to the late Ernest and Ida Gratton. She graduated from Burlington High School in Vermont. In 1964 she married her husband of 51 years, Larry Lacaillade. After moving to Fern Park, Florida in 1976 she volunteered and later became an employee of the Seminole County Public School System where she loved working with children.

Martha is survived by her husband, Larry; her daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Greg Saputo of Yalaha, FL; her son and daughter-in-law, William (Bill) and Tammy Lacaillade of Oviedo, FL; her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Michael Nicholson of Fern Park, FL; her daughter and son-in-law, Lea and Kevin Tompkins of Casselberry, FL. Her brothers Roger Giroux, Ernest Gratton, Richard Gratton along with sister-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. Over the years she welcomed 10 grandchildren; Kailyn, Lindsey, Laycie, Meagan, Abigail, Aimee, Robert, Jack, Amanda and Aubrey. Along with 5 great grandchildren; Samuel, Jessa, Brayden, Carson and Adelynn. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Donald Gratton; her mother and father-law, Carl Sr. and Mary Lacaillade; her brother-in-laws, Carl Jr. and Thomas Lacaillade.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 1:00 pm. at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, FL.

The family would especially like to thank everyone at Florida Hospital Altamonte and Hospice in Altamonte Springs for the excellent work and loving care they provided for Martha.
