Marlene K. Melton, 68, of Orlando, Florida passed away at home early Thursday morning on September 15, 2016 after a long struggle with cancer. She was born in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Florida in 1989. She worked for Coca-Cola Refreshments MRC. for over 20 years and just retired 3 short years ago. She enjoyed going to the beach, watching movies of all kinds, going to dinner with friends and family, but most of all, she loved playing with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful person who will be missed more than words can describe.

Marlene was predeceased by her husband of 44 years Michael J. Melton and she leaves behind a daughter, Carla Fromm and her husband Marty and their two children, Jamie & Brandilyn, a son, Craig Melton, his wife So, and their two children, Cory & Matthew, her mother Ada Wysong and father Corvin Wysong (deceased).

There will be a service on Saturday September 24th at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N. Orlando Ave. Maitland, Florida 32751 from 3:00-5:00pm.

Special thanks to the staff at Vitas Health Care. My Mother has become an angel now and it is her time to fly, you will never know how bad it hurt to have to say goodbye. We all love you and will miss you very much.
