Mark Jeff Secord, 60, of St Petersburg passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Francis "Bud" Secord.
He was a wonderful husband to his beloved wife of over 20 years, Kim, a caring son to his mother Helen Secord, a loving brother to Chuck Secord and wife Margot and to his sisters Colleen and husband Kevin Lasker, Debbie and her husband Bing Berringer, a loving father and so very proud of his daughter Melissa and husband Christopher Duclos, he adored his grandchildren Jessica and Xavier who always brought a smile to his face, stepdaughter Carly Murphree who he always believed in and cared about, and stepgrandson Oliver Leo.
Mark also leaves behind cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.

Mark moved to St. Petersburg from Michigan in 1963. He graduated from Boca Ciega high school. He was a master mechanic for the City of St. Petersburg for 33 years, retiring as a supervisor.
Mark loved boating and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed car races, grilling, working in his yard and being with his family whom he loved dearly. He was good with his hands and could repair just about anything.
Mark was quick witted and funny with a dry sense of humor. He was a big teddy bear at heart and had a beautiful smile.
We will always carry his memory in our hearts. No words can express how dearly and deeply he will be missed.
Mark is now "Sailing on the Ships of Heaven".
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
