Born January 1962 in London, England, beloved son of Jocelyn, brother of Jane and uncle of Siobhan, Mark sadly passed away on Thursday 25th May at the Mike Conley Hospice in Clermont. He had suffered from Multiple Sclerosis for almost 15 years and had moved from New Jersey to Orlando Florida in 2008 where he was cared for by his mother.
Mark was born in London, England and lived in Chatham, Kent for his teenage years before moving back to London and then emigrating to the US in 1979. Mark's philosophy was "work hard, play hard" which he took from his father John, and he certainly knew how to enjoy himself. He was an avid Chelsea fan, and regularly played football (soccer), was out on his mountain bike with his friends or visiting family at the weekends (Weekend Mark). Loyal to the last, he would move heaven and earth to help friends and family if they needed it.
He followed the stock market regularly and would give advice if he thought there was a good opportunity to be followed. He also loved to play tricks on his friends and family, and would often tease the little ones but they all loved "Uncle Mark".
Mark will be sadly missed on both sides of the Atlantic by friends and family, He was loved by many and had touched the hearts of all.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at 17:00 to 20:00 on Thursday June 1st, 2017 at the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematorium at 9001 N Orlando Avenue. Maitland. The family have asked that in lieu of floral contributions, donations are encouraged to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in memory of Mr. Mark Rowland at
