Mark Peterson, 72, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away on July 23, 2025. He was born September 16, 1952. Mark married Susette Peterson on September 18, 1971. Mark's career led him to become the President of the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers.

Mark is survived by his wife of 53 years, Susette (Sue) Peterson; three sons: Tyler Peterson of Jacksonville, FL, Gabriel Peterson (wife Renee) of St. Petersburg, FL and Luke Peterson (partner Amber Burkham) of St. Petersburg, FL; four grandchildren: Lexi Burkham, Brayden Burkham, Aubree Peterson and Elijah Peterson.

Mark was known for being an avid supporter of the Miami Dolphins football team. He was particularly passionate about fishing and gardening.

A celebration of Mark's life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at DeGuispe Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, FL. All are welcome to attend; flowers and condolences may be sent to the DeGuispe Funeral Home.

Mark was loved and will be missed very much by his family and friends.
