Mark (Hoppy) Hopfensperger passed on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. He was born May 7, 1954 in East Lansing, Michigan. He attended Bishop Moore High School and graduated from FTU (UCF) with a Bachelors Degree. Mark held a Cross Country record at Bishop Moore that lasted for many years. Mark worked as a free lance stage hand and rigger in the Orlando entertainment industry. He was a proud member of the IATSE Union #631 AND #835. He served on the executive board and numerous committees over the years. He was especially interested in teaching new members.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Martha. Sisters Jill (Dennis Uliano,) Julie (Stinson,) Cara (Warren,) sister-in-law Shelia (Jeff), mother-in-law Lady de Lopez, father-in-law Alfonso Lopez, brother/sister- in-law Antonio and Vera, brother-in-law Guillermo, brother/sister-in-law Brian and Patricia McCarron, niece Tatiana as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by parents William and Audrey, and brother Jeff. Hoppy, as he was known to many was a good brother, friend and co-worker who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
