Mark S. Dettmer of Sanford, Florida, who was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 28, 1948, died On Friday November 17, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Donna Rae Dettmer, Father Willis Dettmer, Orlando, Florida and two brothers: Robert Dettmer and Eric Dettmer, both in Orlando, Florida as well as nieces and nephews. Mother, Helen (Johnson) Dettmer is deceased.
Mark graduated from Colonial High School, Orlando, Florida and attended New York University School of Medicine. He received his board certification in Orthotics from the American Board of Certification in Orthotics and Prosthesis. He was president of Dettmer Medical until 1991 when he retired and started Casual County Log Homes, selling log packages for Southland Log Homes. Mark was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Oviedo, Florida.
