Marjorie Ann DeWalt Cramer Lyons

Marjorie passed peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of her
family. She was the cherished daughter of the late Raymond J. DeWalt and Alda Miriam Myers
DeWalt. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 46 years, Robert E. Cramer, and her
second husband of nine years, Samuel J. Lyons, her sister Virginia Casterwiler, brother Jim
DeWalt, and brother and best friend George E. DeWalt.

Surviving are her daughters Linda and Richard Combe of Carrier, MS, Nancy Wilson and Kim
Surrency of Neptune Beach, Florida, and Elizabeth and Gary Workman of Uniontown, PA.
Grandchildren include Bill and Mercy Johnson of SC, Chris and Monica Johnson of SC, Joshua
and Emily Turlington of FL, Emily and Cameron Wilson of FL, Madison and Brandon Guilliams of
FL, Olivia and Corey Abell of SC, Allie Surrency of WI, Chloe Surrency of FL, Dustin and Siera
Workman of PA, and Angel and Zach Branchack of PA. Marjorie is also survived by 18 great-
grandchildren, including her sidekick Alyx Workman and her sister Kathy Miller of PA, brother
Ronnie DeWalt of PA as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marjorie graduated from Scottdale High School. She dedicated 16 years 3 months, totaling
6,042 hours, as a volunteer at Uniontown Hospital, showcasing her commitment to serving
others. She was a valued member of The Red Hatters, Hopwood Garden Society, and enjoyed
many years of league bowling at Manor Lanes. Marjorie found joy in Nascar, traveling, and
exploring new places, whether visiting family in her RV or on cruises. Her greatest pride was her
devoted life as a wife, mother, and Grandma/Grammy. She will be deeply missed by those she
loved and who loved her in return.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA 15401, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD.
The family will gather at 10 a.m. to share stories and celebrate her life with a service beginning
at 11 a.m., officiated by her son-in-law Pastor Gary Workman. A luncheon will follow. Interment is private.
