Obituary

Marjorie O. Jones, age 95, passed away on February 25, 2015 after a long battle with cancer.

Marjorie married Robert H Jones, an Air Force fighter pilot in 1952 and traveled with her family all over the United States and Europe. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker as well as an avid contract bridge player.

In 1975 after 32 years in the USAF they decided to retire to Florida and have resided here for the last 39 years.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Robert H. Jones, Col. (USAF Ret) of Altamonte Springs, her older daughter Betsy D. Matthes (son-in-law Jack C. Cortner) and her grandson, Peter C. Matthes of New York City.

Marjorie's younger daughter Ann Graf of Cary, North Carolina, died of breast cancer in August of 2012. Marjorie is survived by her (son-in-law Paul Graf ) and her three grandchildren, Jeannie Graf, Bobby Graf, Katie Margaret Hunt (her husband, John ) and great-grandson Miles Hunt, all of whom presently reside in North Carolina.

Marjorie and her husband were also Auxillians at Winter Park Hospital Gift Shop for 26 years.
They were avid golfers and were members of Rolling Hills Golf Club for for 30 years.

A funeral Mass will be held on March 7 at 1 PM at St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Altamonte Springs, Florida. A reception will follow the service. All who knew and loved Marjorie are welcome.

Her cremated remains will be laid to rest at a later date at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh New York.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Marjorie's name to Hospice of the Comforter, 605 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714
