Marion "Mickey" Kennerly III, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather,
passed away peacefully on May 30, 2024, in Apopka, Florida. He was 85 years old.
Mickey was born on November 26, 1938, in Jacksonville, Florida, where he spent his formative years. A proud graduate of Englewood High School, Mickey was known for his vibrant personality, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
After graduation, Mickey started his own business, Kennerly Flower Gardens. His commitment to hard work and integrity was evident in every endeavor he undertook. He was admired for his quick wit and the warm, welcoming presence he brought to all who knew him.
Marion "Mickey" Kennerly III is survived by his loving wife, Patricia "Lynne" Kennerly, his sons, Marion "Mark" Kennerly IV (Caroline) and Chester "Chet" Kennerly (Cyndi,), step-son, Phillip Taylor, five grandchildren, Katie Friedman (Lance), Elle Walch (Christian), Kelsey Deal (Trevor), and Marion "Lee" Kennerly IV (Sarah), Maylei, and six great-grandchildren, Sophia, Vivi, Sammi, Iver, Everett, and Arden. He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Iris "Patsy" Kennerly.
A mass will be held to celebrate Mickey's life at Annunciation Catholic Church on Monday, June 10th at 1:30 PM.
