Marilyn was born on January 26,1935 in Lycoming County, PA. She was the oldest of 5 children. At the age of 13 she received Jesus as her personal Savior at camp. In her own words, "I don't remember one thing that was said at the meeting that night – I guess I was too busy listening to the Lord speaking to my heart. I had known as a small child that Jesus had died for my sins, and I truly believed that, but that night at camp, I officially confirmed Him as my Savior." She was later baptized in the creek beside the one room-school she attended.
She married Bob on May 15, 1954. In 1968 they sold their home and went to New Tribes Mission training in Durham, Ontario with their two little boys. After completing the training, they returned to Durham and served on staff from 1971-1977. In 1977 they moved to Sanford, FL. Marilyn served as secretary for the Executive Committee. In 2002 they retired to NTM Homes.
She is fondly remembered for her cinnamon rolls, the News and Views updates she sent out to NTM missionaries with the vouchers, and for efficiently managing the Executive Committee secretary office for many years.
