Marie McGill, 87, of Longwood, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 31. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 59 years, G. David McGill. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Shelley Ferguson of Longwood, Mara McGill and her husband Jerry Sprague of Haslatt, Michigan, grandchildren Erin Ferguson Nunnery and her husband Brad, Keri Ferguson, Stacy Ferguson, Stephen Schaberg, and Kelsey Schaberg, in addition to one great-grand daughter Dylan Nunnery.
Marie was born in Milford, Massachusetts and lived in Greenville, South Carolina for many years before retiring to the Country Club of Mt. Dora. She was a free spirit who loved life.
A funeral mass will be held in her honor on Saturday, February 7 at 12 noon at St. Mary Magdalen, Maitland Avenue, Altamonte Springs. At a later date, Marie will be buried with her beloved husband in Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Comforter or Friends of Animals.
