Marie Ann Laxner, 85, of Sanford, Florida passed away June 19, 2015. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 15, 1930. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard George Laxner, Sr.; mother, Segunda Raiz and survived by her 2 sons, Michael (Jennifer) and Richard Jr. along with 6 grandchildren: David Wallace, Aaron, Rachel, Laura, Michael, and step-daughter Melissa. She also is survived by 7 great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Tristan, Emma, Vincent, Noah, Aiden and Colt.
She married her husband, Richard on June 11, 1949 at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago, Illinois.
Max, Marie's dog will miss his master.
There will be a public visitation on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Sanford, Florida with the prayer service starting at 7:00 pm.
On Wednesday, June 24, 2015 a Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Mrs. Laxner at 11:00 am at All Souls Catholic Church on Hwy. 46 in Sanford, Florida followed by a graveside service at 12:30 pm at the All Souls Cemetery in Sanford, Florida.
