Obituary

Marie Gallo was born on April 13, 1931 and sadly passed away on September 8, 2016. She was born in Brooklyn, New York where she would eventually meet and fall in love with her husband of 43 years, John "Jay" Gallo. Marie's pride and joy was her family which includes 6 children, 11 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She devoted her career to being an expert seamstress with a specialty in elegant wedding dresses. When she wasn't spending time with her beloved family, she enjoyed her free time baking, cooking, and crocheting her famous goodies for loved ones. She was also very fond of traveling and particularly found joy in going on cruises. With a smile electric enough to light up New York City, Marie's legacy will live vicariously through each and every life she touched. Her journey may have ended too early for the family, but for her, she made it home just in time for her husband Jay's birthday, who predeceased her. Marie was also predeceased by her son, Michael Gallo and Daughter in Law, Sherri Gallo. She is survived by sons Stephen J. Gallo, Gregory P. Gallo ( Hollie), Christopher J. Gallo ( Merry Angela), daughter Andrea M. Gallo and son Jeffrey R. Gallo (Dana), grandchildren, Michael A. Hunter ( Agnes), Charlene M. Spadoni (Kevin), John E. Gallo (Nichole), Christopher W.
