With deep love and heartfelt remembrance, we announce the passing of Maria Evelyn Pruna, who departed this world on August 1, 2026, having graced it with her kindness and presence for 74 years since her birth on January 5, 1952.
Maria lived a life marked by warmth, resilience, and unwavering devotion. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart left an indelible mark on all who knew her. To her daughter, Sasha Pruna, Maria was a source of enduring support and unconditional love. It is through Sasha that Maria’s legacy of strength, grace, and caring will continue to shine brightly.
Those who had the privilege of sharing in Maria’s journey will remember her gentle wisdom, her ability to listen with true understanding, and her quiet courage. Whether facing life’s joys or its trials, she did so with humility and hope, always striving to see the best in others and to nurture love within her family.
Though words cannot fully capture the depth of our sorrow, nor the fullness of a life so beautifully lived, we honor Maria’s memory by cherishing the time spent with her and the countless ways she enriched the lives around her.
Family, friends, and all whose hearts were touched by Maria are invited to join in celebrating her life. A Visitation will be held at Maitland Chapel, 9001 Orlando Ave, Maitland, FL 32751, on August 15, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Prayer Service will take place the following morning at the same location at 9:30 a.m., followed by burial at All Faiths Memorial Park Cemetery, 1390 Park Drive, Casselberry, FL 32707, at 11:00 a.m.
As we bid farewell, let us carry forth Maria Evelyn Pruna’s spirit in how we care for one another, remembering her as a beacon of love, quiet strength, and enduring hope. Her memory will forever live in the hearts of those she loved and touched.
