Maria Teresa Cruz, 70 of Deltona, Florida passed away July 15, 2019. Mrs. Cruz was born October 17, 1948 in Santiago, Dominican Republic to Manuel Cruz and Isabel Vargas.

She is survived by her loving children Elizabeth Tejada (Jose Cuevas), Jennifer Tejada, Jonathan Tejada, Gerard Tejada, Dayshaniel Padin and many family and friends.

"Our Mom was the most wonderful person in the world! She dedicated her life to loving us and helping friends and family. It didn't matter what problems she had, she was always there for whomever needed her. She always had a smile even if she had a struggle in her life at that moment, but she never stopped believing in God. The Lord was her strength in every way. She was always singing and she lighted up every room with her contagious laughter. She was loved by so many, many people. We will always have her in our hearts and our thoughts. We love you Mom!!!"
