Margaret Ann Pressley Carter, 82, was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who had a loving influence on everyone she met. She was called home by the Lord on June, 15th, 2017.

Born to Fredrick Newton Pressley and Ella Mae Chambers on July, 26th, 1934, in Waynesville, North Carolina. She was wed to James Henry Carter on April 18th, 1954, and they were happily married for 63 years.

She is survived by her husband, James "Jimmy" Carter, her brother Timothy Pressley (Beverly), her daughter, Denise Hinkey (Bill) , her son, James Carter (Cindy) , her granddaughter, Jennifer Carter, and her grandson, Nicholas Carter.

She always loved listening to Elvis Presley; so Margaret dance eternity away and listen to his music real loud, so that we may hear you in our hearts.
