Manuel Valle, age 94, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Born on September 26, 1931, in El Salvador, Central America, he was the beloved son of the late Benigno Valle and Abelina Peña.
Manuel was the devoted husband of the late Sida Sosa, who preceded him in death on August 30, 2021. He is survived by his loving children, James Valle and his wife Danielle, and Roxana Mlinar; his cherished grandchildren, Bryan Sosa Chancay, James Mlinar, Emelie Mlinar, Daniel Valle, and Jaimee Valle; and his dear sister, Maria Alvarez.
A skilled steelworker by trade, Manuel was a longtime member of the steelworkers union in New York City. After retiring, he relocated with his family to the Orlando area. Never one to remain idle, he continued working for 15 years in Guest Services at the Walt Disney World Resort, where he enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life.
Manuel had a natural talent for construction and building, with an uncanny ability to fix just about anything. He found great joy and pride in working in his garden, tending to it with care and dedication. Above all, Manuel treasured the time he spent with his family, who meant everything to him.
Though he had a quiet and laid-back demeanor, Manuel was widely known for his generosity, kindness, and selfless nature. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and humility that will be remembered by all who knew him.
Manuel's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 12:00 pm at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory - West Orange Chapel, 1400 Matthew Paris Blvd, Ocoee, FL 34761.
The family will receive friends and visitors on Friday, May 8 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm preceding the service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow the funeral services at Edgewood-Greenwood Cemetery, 141 Edgewood Dr, Apopka, FL 32703
