It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Manuel DeJesus Morales, who departed this life peacefully on March 11, 2025, in Orlando, Florida at the age of 84. Manuel was born on September 16, 1940, in San German, Puerto Rico to the late Ramon and Mirella Morales.

Manuel grew up on the family farm in San German, but he had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and spent much time studying and reading books. In 1959, he won the Rotary Club's Oratorical contest in English for Puerto Rico and received his degree in Commercial Studies from the Arre Lugo Business College in San German in 1962.

In 1964, Manuel moved to the Bronx, NY where he met and married his beloved wife, Aida. They were married for 55 years, and she preceded him in death.

Manuel was a hard-working and dedicated man of quiet strength and enduring love who believed that faith in God and the power of family was the foundation of everything.

He is survived by his only daughter, Madelyn, who will miss his gentle spirit and steady presence.

A Funeral Mass in Manuel's honor is scheduled for Friday, March 28, 2025, at 11:00 am at the San Pedro Spiritual Development Center followed by the Graveside Committal at Queen of Angels Cemetery. Manuel will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife, Aida.
