Maki Yamada Oravets, age 50, of Smithfield, unexpectedly on Saturday, October 16, 2021. Beloved wife of Frederick "Fred" Oravets; loving mother of Julia, Maya, Abby and Aden Oravets; daughter of Tadao and Hiroe Yamada. She is also survived by 1 brother and 1 sister. Maki was an artist and graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She enjoyed photography and exercising. As per her wishes there was no viewing. Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, October 25, 2021 from 4-6 PM at DeGUSIPE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 65 N. Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown.
