Madeline "Mickey" K. McFadden, 67 of Sanford, Florida departed this life at Consulate Health Care at West Altamonte on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 after fighting a long battle with Cancer. Madeline was born on July 14, 1946 to Joseph and Janet McFadden in Olean, New York. Madeline was an only child. She graduated from Lyman High School. Madeline started working for the Altamonte Springs Police Department in 1973 until 1990. She would also fill in at the Lake Mary Police Department when needed. In 1990 Madeline was transferred to the Seminole County Sheriff's office where she retired in 2006. Madeline was a loving Mother and Grandmother and she loved spending time with her friends. She was an animal lover and spent a great deal of time with her horse, Mark. Survivors are: Son, Joseph Shane McFadden of Sanford, Florida; Granddaughters, Heather Nicole McFadden of Kings Mountain, NC, and Mary Elizabeth May of Kings Mountain, NC; Grandsons, Shane Lewis McFadden of Blue Springs MO., and Skylar May of Kings Mountain, NC.
