Mabel Rosa Lee Clark Woodard, a long-time resident of the Winter Park Area, died on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Regents Park of Winter Park.

She was born in 1916 om Deland, Florida to the late Edward Clark and Dora Ward Clark, and at 16 she married Reverend John Henry Woodard, Sr. (deceased).

As a member of Ward Chapel AME Church for 70+ years, she served faithfully on the Cleanup Committee, Friendly Ten Committee, Youth Department, Trustee Board and the Depugh Nursing Home Auxilliary.

Her loving memory will forever be cherished by her children: LeNora Quinn (Johnnie), Hortense Winfield (Jessie), Patricia Bryant, and Frank Woodard, Sr. (Nora Mae) all from Orlando, Florida; the late John Woodard, Jr. (Alice) of Las Vegas, NV; Cassandra Woodard and Ronald Woodard (Laverne) all from Winter Park, FL; Wendell Woodard (Velma) of Seattle, Washington; 40 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren. Sisters: Dorothy Allen (deceased) of Deland, FL and Alberta Rutledge (Charles-deceased) of Cambridge, Massachusetts; Caregiver: Louise Gray, and many church family and friends.
