It is with deep sorrow that we announce our beloved Luke Robert McDonald, age 15, gained his angel wings on September 5, 2025.
Luke's smile could light up any room, and he was known for the joy and happiness he carried with him everywhere he went. He loved football, race cars, movies, and Bluey. He found joy in days at the beach and spending time with his favorite people. With his innocent spirit and warm heart, Luke touched the lives of countless family and friends, leaving behind memories that will forever be cherished.
He is survived by his loving parents, Rob and Johanna McDonald; his siblings and best friends, Brendan and Leah; and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Gartz, and his paternal grandfather, Robert McDonald. Luke is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who adored him.
Family and friends are welcome to join us for visiting hours on Wednesday, September 10th, 2025 at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N Orlando Ave., Maitland, FL 32751 from 4pm-7pm.
