Maria Luisa Sanchez Bobes, 91, of Winter Park, Florida, passed away on 31 January, 2015, peacefully in her home.
She was born in Almeria, Spain on December 23, 1923, the daughter of Pedro Moises Sanchez Gali and Luisa Ruiz Vincente. She was educated in Spain, France and Cuba. With her travels and formal education she became fluent in five languages. She worked as a translator and also owned and managed businesses and properties.
She lived in Spain, France, Cuba and the U.S., residing in her beloved Winter Park from 1973 to 2015.
She is survived by her children, Ofelia Sorzano, Gabriel P. Sorzano, and Augusto Bobes, Jr., daughter-in-law Kim Bobes, and grandchildren, Lucas Azambuja, and Sophia and Olivia Bobes.
She was predeceased by her husband, Augusto Bobes, brother, Gali Sanchez and sister, Delia Sanchez Morales.
She lived her life with extraordinary confidence, wisdom, and compassion.
