Luis Quiles, 84, entered into eternal rest on May 5, 2017, surrounded by his family. Born in Maricao, Puerto Rico in 1933, he lived the majority of his adult life on Long Island, New York. In 2010 he moved to Lake Mary, Florida, to be closer to his children.

Luis was a loving father (and father figure to many), grandfather, uncle and friend, who will be deeply missed by many.

He is predeceased by his mother Bernarda Valentin and father Pedro Quiles. He is survived by his brother Miguel Quiles, sister Carmen Lydia Quiles, brother Pedro Jesus Quiles, sister Luz Esther Quiles, brother Jose Quiles, sister Miriam Quiles, sister Ramona Quiles; son Pedro Quiles and his wife Susan Quiles; daughter Jeanette Rodriguez and husband Alex Rodriguez; grandchildren Samantha Quiles, Isabel Quiles, Pedro Quiles, Jr., Emilia Rodriguez and Alexis Rodriguez. Great-grandchildren Cameron Real and Moises Velazquez.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13th at DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory in Maitland. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
