Lourdes (Lori) Herslebs of Casselberry, Florida passed away peacefully on Memorial Day, May 28 2018. Lori was born on February 14, 1960 in Holguin, Cuba and moved to Orlando, Florida at the age of 6 months with her parents Elsie and Jorge Blanca.

At a young age, Lori had to take on the responsibility of helping her immigrant mother care for her two younger sisters and their ailing father. Lori graduated from Bishop Moore High School where she met and later married James Herslebs, with whom she had three children. Lori always felt she was destined to have three children. She was truly meant to be a mother and cherished every moment with her children. After years of being a dedicated stay at home mom, she entered the workforce and worked for several years as a legal assistant until her health forced her to retire in July 2015. Lori was an amazing, loving, funny, outgoing and selfless woman who loved her family and children more than anything else in the world. She was loved by many and she touched many lives.

Lori is survived by daughters Nicole and Danielle Herslebs, son James Herslebs, grandson Trenton Sizemore, mother Elsie Clink, 2 younger sisters Angie Roberts and Debbie Lee, 2 nieces Payton MacDonald and Maria Lee, great niece Presley Douglas, nephew Kyle Lee and brother-in-law Peter Lee. She is preceded in death by her father Jorge Blanca.

Lori will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory and legacy will never be forgotten by those who loved her. Lori will forever live in our hearts and her family will continue to honor her memory in everything they do the rest of their lives.



A private service for family and close friends will be held June 9, 2018 at De Gusipe funeral home in Maitland.
