Lourdes Carreras Negrón passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 26, 2026, at Orlando Health Regional Medical Center, at the age of 55.

Born in 1971 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Lourdes was the youngest of three sisters. She pursued her college education and lived a life filled with purpose, happiness, and dedication. She devoted over 20 years of her professional life to the Department of Forensics. Following her retirement, she embraced her faith even more fully, dedicating her time to serving her beloved Catholic Church.

Lourdes was an active member of the Emmaus leadership team, participated in the Couples Ministry, and worked closely alongside her parish priest, always giving her time, knowledge, and heart to her church community.

Above all, Lourdes was a devoted mother and wife who dedicated her life to her daughters and family. She will be remembered for her intelligence, joyful spirit, generous heart, and unwavering faith in God.

Though her unexpected departure leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her, her legacy of faith, service, and unconditional love will live on through the many lives she touched.

May the Lord welcome her into His eternal kingdom, where she may rest in everlasting peace.
