Louise Kohl Hartley, went to be with her Lord on May 31, 2016 at the age of 94. Born February 17, 1922 in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania, married in 1942 to James R. Hartley and moved to St. Petersburg in 1959. Louise retired from the VA. She has been very active throughout her life and participated in aerobics, Tai Chi, and yoga until Christmas. Louise was one of the original parishioners of Transfiguration Church. She is preceded in death by her husband James Robert Hartley and son James Glen Hartley. Louise is survived by her son Steve Hartley and wife, Diane Hartley; granddaughter, Julie Ostoski and her husband Ryan Ostoski; two great granddaughters. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the Transfiguration Catholic Church 4000 43rd St. No., St. Petersburg at 10 A.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.
