Obituary

Lonnie Ray Miller went to heaven on August 23, 2024. He was an extraordinarily unique and beloved man who touched countless lives.

Lonnie's deep love for the Lord was the foundation of his life. He found great comfort in John 10:27-28, where Jesus says, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them
eternal life." Now, Lonnie has been healed from all illness and is rejoicing with our Lord.
Lonnie was born on November 12, 1951, in Green Cove Springs, Florida, to Paul and Ardela Miller, both of whom preceded him in death. He was the third of six children, with siblings Larry (who has also passed), Lynne, Laurie, Curtis, and Cale.

Lonnie's greatest pride and joy in life was his son, Michael "Shane" Miller. Shane was his happy place and the legacy Lonnie held most dear. Lonnie's wife of 30 years, Kim Foy, will miss him deeply. He was her safe place, and she will remain forever devoted to his memory.
Lonnie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a Sergeant. During his service in Vietnam, he was exposed to Agent Orange, which later led to his illness. Despite this, Lonnie lived
his life with passion and purpose.

He loved attending car shows, and antique vehicles were a significant part of his life. Lonnie also found immense fulfillment through his first MAPS mission trip, where he discovered a new calling. From then on, he couldn't wait to get out there and serve.

Lonnie's impact on others was profound and lasting. He never said goodbye, only "Later," so, we will see you later, my love.
